How To Get More Energy In A Healthy Way (+ A Natural Hangover Cure?)

Do you wake up feeling tired? Perhaps you don’t sleep well and fail to wake up refreshed and ready to face the day the next morning… Or maybe it’s simply that you have a lot to do.

To counter this, many people (2 billion people daily!) rely on coffee or even an energy drink in the morning to wake themselves up and get clear-headed for whatever tasks they’re going to face that day.

But We All Know That Drinking Too Much Coffee Isn’t The Most Healthy Way To Boost Energy…

Don’t worry, I’m not suggesting you give up coffee (unless it’s part of a much-needed health recovery plan because you’re sick). I’m not planning on giving it up, either!

But replacing some of your coffee or energy drink with something more healthy and sustainable.

Both of these drinks contain a significant amount of caffeine, and large amounts of caffeine has side effects, which can include:

  • Dizziness
  • Diarrhoea
  • Insomnia and irritability
  • Headache and chest pain
  • Trouble breathing
  • Vomiting
  • Hallucinations
  • Irregular or fast heartbeat
  • Uncontrollable muscle movements

These symptoms mirror many other serious illnesses, and people suffering from caffeine overdoses are quite common in hospital emergency departments. Caffeine is also addictive, and after not too long, you may need caffeine just to get to a ‘normal’ state of alertness no matter what time of day it is, and get a post-caffeine energy slump not long afterward!

Are Energy Drinks Good For Boosting Energy?

Not really! Energy drinks contain a high proportion of carbohydrates (sugars), and this can cause blood glucose levels to spike and hinder blood sugar control.

Studies have also revealed an associated risk of higher diastolic blood pressure with energy drinks, as well as the symptoms described above for coffee overdose.

Don’t Get Me Wrong: I Drink Coffee! But I Found A Healthier Way To Boost My Energy

I enjoy the odd coffee. I like the smell. But what I love about coffee is how it energizes you and helps you prepare to tackle your day. And I have found a more health-promoting alternative that helps me do that: ‘Real NRG’.

The Nutritious Ingredients

This is a natural product that contains Vitamins B12, B6 & B2, Niacin, Folic Acid, Vitamin C and Guarana. and whilst this does contain small amounts of caffeine, it is well within the safe consumption limits.

Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin), plays an essential role in red blood cell formation, cell metabolism, nerve function and the production of DNA.

Vitamin B6 is essential to the central nervous system and metabolism. Its role includes turning food into energy and helping to create neurotransmitters, such as serotonin and dopamine.

Niacin can help lower cholesterol, ease Arthritis, and boosts brain function.

Folic Acid is essential in red blood cell formation, and it is these cells that carry the oxygen around the body.

Vitamin C is a superb antioxidant and is essential for the growth, development and repair of body tissues.

Vitamin B2 is essential to maintain the body’s energy supply.

Guarana comes from a plant (Paullinia cupana) found in the Amazon region of South America and was known to the Ancient Aztec tribes for its medicinal properties. It is used to treat stress, facilitate weight loss and reduce the feeling of physical and mental fatigue.

My family take it and have enjoyed its ability to boost their energy and help them stay alert all day, without the side effects or dangers associated with the consumption of coffee or energy drinks.

Real NRG’s effects kick in after about 5 minutes. It’s great for business owners, drivers, athletes, students or anyone who needs to be readily alert for whatever purpose.

You take it by dissolving the powder in water (and I find it quite pleasant actually). One tub lasts about 90 days, so it’s cheaper than coffee and energy drinks. I use it every day, knowing that it’s safer, healthier and actually more effective for me than coffee. I liked it so much when I tried it the first time that I decided to stock it in our shop.

You can find it here.

My friends say that it’s a superb remedy for migraines and hangovers, too!
